In this popular musical, prince Pippin, the son of the medieval ruler King Charlemagne, is in search of the secret to true happiness and fulfillment. He seeks it in the glories of the battlefield, the temptations of passion and the intrigues of political power. In the end, Pippin finds that happiness lies not in extraordinary endeavors but rather in the everyday moments of life. Rated PG-13.

Originally produced by Stuart Ostrow and directed by Bob Fosse on the Broadway stage. The 2013 Broadway revival was directed by Diane Paulus. Mitch Sebastian originally conceived the “Theo ending” in 1998.
